Established in 2013, Maker's Asylum is India's first community makerspace focused on fostering innovation through hands-on and purpose based learning. The space houses various labs to facilitate prototyping of ideas that are interdisciplinary in nature, especially interventions across Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) fields.
Initially started as a DIY space for people to share tools and make things, it organically grew into a learning space over the years.
Through our programs we have alumni in over 40 countries now and we work with universities, development and corporate organisations, schools, NGOs and other makerspaces across the globe to amplify our mission of "Learning By Making"
A pre-engineering program that offers 7th-12th graders hands-on experience in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).
Set in Goa, India, the program combines practical projects, mentorship, field trips, and creative exploration to inspire young minds and foster innovation.
