About Innovative Robot Bartender for Refreshing Drinks: MixMaster3000

Solution

The final design included: A centralized dispensing unit with a pipe outlet Optimized component layout using insights from initial failures Electronics housed neatly with improved stability Mechanical design adjusted after foamboard trials Final structure built with plywood, PVC, and internal brackets (laser-cut, though some were improperly affixed)

Additional Info

Idea: Build a robotic bartender capable of dispensing drinks through a fully automated system. The robot would mix and serve beverages using preloaded dispensers and an app-based interface, offering a fun and futuristic refreshment experience. Constraints Faced: Difficulty assembling the wooden enclosure due to imprecise manual cutting Motor pumps arrived late, delaying progress App used for control was buggy and unreliable Coding errors caused troubleshooting delays Incorrect glue and lack of laser-cutting precision affected construction quality Solutions Brainstormed: Initial idea: Install multiple drink dispensers and let the cup move along tracks to each dispenser Created a block diagram to plan the flow of the system Designed multiple prototypes: 1st: Cardboard, 1/5th scale 2nd: Foamboard, 1/2 scale Final: Plywood with PVC pipe skeleton Reference video from YouTube helped finalize design layout and component placement
