Maker's Asylum Project #6 aka MAP6 aka MakerBee is built around the classic, half-century old IC - the SE555. The 555 is configured as an astable multivibrator which flashes two LED's (which are the eyey of the bee) and also a haptic motor in parallel with the LEDs, which causes the MakerBee to vibrate and wiggle. It is powered by two CR2032 coin batteries.
