About Retro Arcade

Solution

A fully functional retro arcade machine capable of running classic games like Mario and Donkey Kong (among others). Total build cost: ₹50,000 INR, including all hardware and materials.

Additional Info

About the Project: Sehaj collaborated with Akshay and Utkarsh. They used a Raspberry Pi running RetroPie to emulate classic arcade consoles. The team laser-cut plywood at Maker’s Asylum to build a custom case. Utkarsh handled the physical assembly, while Akshay and Sehaj worked on coding and configuration. The design included black paint, lighting inside an 8-bit cutout, and arcade buttons sourced from Chandni Chowk.
