Problem Statement

The goal of our project was to create a guitar accessory that includes single-hand amputees in the user-base of guitar players and shoppers. The accessory is meant to help the user learn to play using any guitar available to them, using a single hand.

About Armstrum

Solution

We presented our ideas to other workshop members and to some of Vaibhav’s friends who were differently-abled. This gave us insights into our design approach and ways to improve it.

Additional Info

The project was built through an iterative design process with feedback from differently-abled individuals. Focus was not only on usability but also on emotional inclusion in music and culture.
